A Certified LabVIEW Embedded Systems Developer (CLED) demonstrates proficiency and expertise in analyzing requirements for and designing, developing, debugging, and deploying reliable mission-critical embedded control and monitoring applications based on CompactRIO, Single-Board RIO, and/or R Series hardware. A CLED efficiently uses the LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA modules in accordance with NI-recommended best practices and software engineering principles to design modular, scalable, and maintainable embedded systems.
-Valid Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) or Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA) certification
Recommended Experience Level
-18 to 24 months of experience in developing medium- to large-scale LabVIEW control and monitoring applications with CompactRIO, Single-Board RIO, and/or R Series hardware
-Completion of Embedded Control and Monitoring Using LabVIEW Training Course

Certification Exam Details
-Format: A 1-hour multiple choice exam and a 5-hour application development section using Single-Board RIO hardware
-The multiple choice exam must be passed before attempting the application development section
-Location: NI branch office, training center, or on-site at your location
Certified Professionals can recertify by two methods: recertification by exam or recertification by points.
-Recertification interval: 5 years
