Configure System
The National Instruments cFP-2220 programmable automation controller is designed for industrial monitoring, embedded control, and distributed I/O applications. Using the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module, you can create full-featured applications with thousands of analog and digital I/O, advanced signal processing, real-time simulation algorithms, PID control loops, and even motion control.
The NI cFP-2220 features an industrial 400 MHz Freescale MPC5200 real-time processor for deterministic, reliable deployment and 256 MB of DRAM memory for larger and more advanced analysis. For embedded data logging, the controller contains 256 MB of internal nonvolatile storage as well as CompactFlash and USB ports for removable storage media. The fault-tolerant file system embedded in the cFP-2220 also provides increased reliability for your data-logging applications.
With two 10/100BASE-T Ethernet ports and four serial ports, the deployed cFP-2220 can conduct programmatic communication with other intelligent controllers and devices. Through its built-in Web (HTTP) and file (FTP) servers, the cFP-2220 interface automatically publishes I/O data to a PC running LabVIEW or to your choice of OPC client or HMI/SCADA software. It also easily integrates with existing legacy or programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
