Use the National Instruments LabVIEW Real-Time Module for ETS targets to convert a qualified desktop or industrial PC into a dedicated real-time hardware target. Basic qualifications are: - Pentium 4 processor
- FAT 32 IDE or other compatible hard drive (see complete requirements list)
- Compatible integrated or PCI Ethernet adapter such as Intel Pro/100 S adapter
- 3.5 in. floppy drive
Desktop PCs have a wide range of Ethernet chips, some of which are not compatible with LabVIEW Real-Time. To address this challenge, the LabVIEW Deployment License Bundle includes a supported PCI Ethernet card. View the requirements for a desktop PC as a real-time target.
