Use the National Instruments LabVIEW Real-Time Module for ETS targets to convert a qualified desktop or industrial PC into a dedicated real-time hardware target. Basic qualifications are:
Pentium 4 processor
FAT 32 IDE or other compatible hard drive (see complete requirements list)
Compatible integrated or PCI Ethernet adapter such as Intel Pro/100 S adapter
3.5 in. floppy drive
Desktop PCs have a wide range of Ethernet chips, some of which are not compatible with LabVIEW Real-Time. To address this challenge, the LabVIEW Deployment License Bundle includes a supported PCI Ethernet card. View the requirements for a desktop PC as a real-time target.

Applications developed for this target require a Windows XP/2000 host computer and the LabVIEW Real-Time Module (ETS) for Windows.
