The Modulation Toolkit extends the built-in analysis capability of LabVIEW with functions and tools for signal generation, analysis, visualization, and processing of standard and custom digital and analog modulation formats. With this toolkit, you can rapidly develop custom applications for research, design, characterization, validation, and test of communications systems and components that modulate or demodulate signals. The numerous Modulation Toolkit applications include digital modulation formats (AM, FM, PM, ASK, FSK, MSK, GMSK, PSK, QPSK, PAM, and QAM) that are the foundation of many digital communication standards found in 802.11a/b/g/n, ZigBee (802.15.4), WiMAX (802.16), RFID, satellite communications, and commercial broadcast among others.

For RF applications, the Modulation Toolkit complements the PXI-5660 RF vector signal analyzer and the PXI-5671 RF vector signal generator. For lower frequency operation (baseband or IF signals), the Modulation Toolkit works with the 100 MHz mixed-signal test platform with digitizer, analog waveform generator, and digital waveform I/O products.
