  • Get access to 3GPP Release 14 LTE standard from LabVIEW
  • Use PC5 communication with Sidelink/Mode-4 from the MAC and PHY layers
  • Use with NI USRP hardware
  • Send and receive regular LTE-V messages under MAC control using PDCP and RLC sublayers
  • Take advantage of user-configurable data transmission per message
  • Requires SEA LTE-V Add-On for LabVIEW - MONITORING API (separately available) for operation
  • Download
The SEA LTE-V Add-On for LabVIEW - COMMS API, based on the NI hardware platform, delivers unique access to the 3GPP TS 36.300 (Release 14/Mode-4 sidelink) standard for the future V2X (Vehicle-to-Anything) communication. It consists of two separate parts: COMMS API and MONITORING API. This product page covers the COMMS API.

The COMMS API provides access to the communication hardware, parametrization, and basic communication functions (send and receive SDU packets) on the MAC and PHY layers according to the 3GPP standard. The COMMS API is the base software package for LTE-V communication and mandatory for the other LTE-V Add-On parts (SEA LTE-V Add-On for LabVIEW - MONITORING API).

Multiple hardware platforms are supported: NI USRP-2953/54. The COMMS API enables user applications that incorporate regular LTE-V communication (for example, signal quality test, data throughput test, stress test, HIL) to provide a simple and lightweight functions palette for LabVIEW programmers.
