Haro3D™ Library for 3D Data Visualization by HaroTek Access Microsoft Hololens, Kinect V2, and 3D Model Textures

Haro3D provides VIs to interface with the Microsoft Hololens for augmented reality applications. Use LabVIEW to upload 3D objects to the Hololens and interact with a user in the Hololens space.

Haro3D also offers an API for the Microsoft Kinect V2 to acquire and process clouds of points, 3D reconstruction, bodies, infrared images, color images, and audio beam direction.

In addition, this library provides the ability to load 3D objects with textures from models in the Wavefront .obj format within LabVIEW 3D picture controls. You can also easily convert several other file formats into the .obj format. The .OBJ file VI can be used to load robots and their kinematics from CAD models within 3D picture controls.

The Haro3D library features VIs to load and save cloud of points and meshes in .ply, .stl, and .xyz formats and to interpret dynamic hand gestures when using the Kinect.

Haro3D is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of LabVIEW 2016 or later.
