LabSocket enables access to LabVIEW VIs from any web browser without the need for browser plugins or a client-side run-time engine. The software generates a browser client that represents a Target VI front panel using HTML and JavaScript code and continuously synchronizes the Target VI front panel controls and indicators with corresponding elements in the browser.
LabSocket software is available in several versions. The original version, named “LabSocket,” is designed for access to VIs on Windows platforms. LabSocket-Embedded or “LabSocket-E,” is designed to access VIs on NI real-time controllers such as CompactRIO, Single-Board RIO, myRIO, and PXI controllers. LabSocket-E Student and Home Edition also supports Raspberry Pi devices. A detailed comparison of the software versions is available under “LabSocket – Additional Details” on the Resources tab.
All versions permit deployment of an unlimited number of executables to any number of platforms using a single developer license.
