Course Overview
In this NI FlexRIO course, learn how to design high-performance systems using NI FlexRIO FPGA and adapter modules. Explore NI FlexRIO hardware architecture and features, from the extremely high-performance I/O to the real-time and low-latency field-programmable gate array (FPGA)-based processing. This course is an extension of the High-Throughput LabVIEW FPGA course.

  • Understand the basic architecture and capabilities of NI FlexRIO FPGA modules, including the clocking architecture, PXI interface, DRAM performance, and adapter module card-edge connector
  • Understand common adapter module architectures, and how they may be used in different applications
  • Optimize NI FlexRIO-based systems for throughput and latency performance, especially when using peer-to-peer (P2P) streaming
