The concepts contained in LabVIEW Core 3 are required to program with a high degree of skill in LabVIEW.
The third course of the NI LabVIEW learning path, LabVIEW Core 3 increases proficiency by exposing you to best practices for designing, developing, documenting, and testing LabVIEW applications.Learn how to follow an agile approach to develop, test, and deploy your design to reduce time to completion and improve application modularity. By incorporating these design practices early in your development, you avoid unnecessary application redesign and minimize maintenance costs.

Attendance to at least LabVIEW Core 3 is recommended for anyone who is:

• Using LabVIEW on a regular basis or spending more than 10 hours a week developing LabVIEW Code
• Designing your first medium to large application in the LabVIEW environment (50+ VIs)
• Maintaining, modifying, or upgrading an inherited LabVIEW application
• Developing an application to be used, supported, or maintained by others, whether colleagues, technicians, or customers
• Planning a career where you will use LabVIEW for multiple projects, current and future (CLD level certification is recommended)
• Designing a ‘mission critical’ application where incorrect execution may result in risk to safety or significant loss (continued advanced LabVIEW training is recommended)

• Learn the skills needed to create scalable, readable, and maintainable applications
• Recommended preparation for the Certified LabVIEW Developer exam
