Ethernet Expansion I/O from Any PC or PAC

Overview

In this short tutorial, learn about new expansion I/O hardware from National Instruments that provides Ethernet or serial expansion I/O from any PC or programmable automation controller (PAC). This tutorial is divided into two sections.  You can choose to view the section that applies to your application. Part 1 of the tutorial discusses how to add expansion I/O to a PC system from the NI cFP-1808 network interface, and then demos accessing this I/O with NI LabVIEW. Part 2  discusses how to add expansion I/O from a PAC, and demos how to add I/O on Compact FieldPoint Real-Time controllers and NI CompactRIO.
