Recommended Transducers Many manufacturers offer a wide range of microphones, accelerometers, and other transducers for your specific application. Listed below are selected transducers from manufactures G.R.A.S. Sound and Vibration and PCB Piezotronics. Microphones National Instruments recommends pre-polarized microphones and constant current powered (CCP) preamplifiers for use with NI devices that provide IEPE (Integrated Electronic Piezo-Electric) signal conditioning. Accelerometers National Instruments recommends piezoelectric or ICP ® type accelerometers for use with NI devices that provide IEPE (Integrated Electronic Piezo-Electric) signal conditioning.
