- Legacy DAQ devices -- low-cost multifunction I/O and analog output
National Instruments recommends M Series DAQ and USB DAQ programmed with NI-DAQmx driver software for new applications.
NI Legacy DAQ devices consist of low-cost multifunction I/O and analog output products. They provide up to 100 kS/s, 12-bit performance on eight single-ended or four differential analog inputs. Some also offer digital triggering capability; three 16-bit, 8 MHz counter/timers; two 12-bit analog outputs; and 24 digital I/O lines. To connect to these devices, NI offers the PR50-50F and R30-30 Legacy DAQ cable accessories, which provide 50- and 30-pin options both terminating with female connectors. NI also provides thermocouples and RTDs in versatile configurations such as field-cuttable probes, ready-made sensors, and spools of thermocouple and extension wire.
