SCXI cable assemblies connect the I/O connector of a plug-in DAQ board to the front-end signal conditioning SCXI system. For most applications, because SCXI operates in multiplexed mode, only one cable assembly is required to connect a multimodule SCXI system to a single plug-in DAQ board. If you are using SCXI modules in parallel, or nonmultiplexed mode, you will need an SCXI cable assembly to connect each parallel-mode SCXI module to a plug-in DAQ board.
