The 5B Series perform single-channel analog signal conditioning for National Instruments DAQ boards. These modules are housed in an 8 or 16-channel carrier or backplane that is cabled back to the data acquisition board, providing assorted signal conditioning on a channel-by-channel basis. The 5B family provides isolation, noise rejection, and amplification for millivolt sources, volt sources, 4-20 mA sources, 0-20 mA sources, RTDs, thermocouples, strain gauges, and frequency inputs. Analog output current modules are also available.
