The 802.11p LabVIEW Add-On toolkit delivers unique access to the DSRC 802.11p communication standard for the future V2X (Vehicle-to-X) communication on multiple NI hardware platforms.

The NI USRP offers an FPGA-based implementation of the PHY & MAC. It is designed for high-load communication, in-depth stressing and debugging the functionality of 802.11p devices in development, validation, and research applications.

The SEA 9719 platform offers a commercial, hardware-based, dual radio PHY and MAC stack controlled by an ARM processor for regular communication and is best suited for prototyping.

All hardware platforms deliver packets in the TZSP format supported by Wireshark.

The toolkit is compatible with NI USRP-2953R/54R and SEA 9719 modules for CompactRIO, and provides a simple and lightweight functions palette for LabVIEW programmers.
