NI ATCA products are the highest performance off-the-shelf FPGA prototyping modules offered by NI. Featuring multiple high-end Xilinx FPGAs for signal processing, FPGA Modules for ATCA are ideal for applications that require significant amounts of real-time signal processing including 5G/wireless algorithm research, prototyping, and limited deployment.

Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA) is a carrier-grade form factor used in wireless communication deployments around the world. Each FPGA module for ATCA must be housed in an ATCA chassis and paired with a Rear Transition Module that provides connectivity out of the ATCA backplane.

NI ATCA products also feature four AIO module slots that can be filled with the AIO modules of the user’s choice; a 4 GS/s digitizer module, a 5.6 GS/s signal generator modules, and a high-speed serial module that provides additional serial connectivity.

NI ATCA products are programmable both through LabVIEW using the LabVIEW FPGA Module and through alternative toolchains using BEEcube Platform Studio software.
