The Sprinkler Controller App for myRIO contains code capable of monitoring and controlling sprinkler lines. The real-time code can run on the myRIO device independently (in other words, without interacting with the Desktop Main code) without user interaction for extended periods of time. You can configure the sprinkler zones to run automatically or you can manually control them. Manual mode is accessible through Desktop Main as well as through the Data Dashboard for LabVIEW, so you can be anywhere in your yard and control which zone you are watering.

This app demonstrates the capability of the myRIO device to control, monitor, and log history data for a set of sprinkler lines. This is only one possible implementation of this kind of architecture. You can expand this code or modify it to control and monitor many different things.

See the help documentation within the product to achieve the full functionality of this controller including a hardware setup that you can modify to fit your needs. The app comes with images and masks for two predefined lawn examples, but you can customize it to fit any lawn.
