The NI 5771 adapter module for NI FlexRIO combines sampling rates up to 3 GS/s with the power of user-programmable FPGAs. This allows inline, high-performance processing of extremely fast events in applications such as pulsing, light detection and ranging (LIDAR), and high-resolution edge detection.
The module features two channels simultaneously sampled at 1.5 GS/s that you can interleave to create a single channel with a 3 GS/s sampling rate. The 900 MHz analog bandwidth of the DC-coupled front end minimizes the distortion and attenuation of the acquired signals.
Additionally, 12 bidirectional digital I/O lines enable digital protocols based on field-programmable gate array (FPGA) technology for device under test and downconverter control.
