The NI sbRIO-9626 embedded control and acquisition device integrates a real-time processor, a user-reconfigurable FPGA, and I/O on a single printed circuit board (PCB). It features a 400 MHz industrial processor, a Xilinx Spartan-6 LX45 FPGA, and a RIO Mezzanine Card (RMC) connector, which is a high-speed, high-bandwidth connector that provides direct access to the processor and 96 3.3 V digital I/O (DIO) FPGA lines. The sbRIO-9626 has 16 single-ended/8 differential 16-bit analog input channels at 200 kS/s, four 16-bit analog output channels, and four 3.3 V DIO channels through a 50-pin IDC. It offers a -40 to 85 °C local ambient operating temperature range along with a 9 to 30 VDC power supply input range. This device provides 256 MB of DRAM for embedded operation and 512 MB of nonvolatile memory for storing programs and data logging.
The sbRIO-9626 features a built-in 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet port you can use to conduct programmatic communication over the network and host built-in web (HTTP) and file (FTP) servers. It also offers integrated USB, CAN, SDHC, RS232 serial, and RS485 serial ports for controlling peripheral devices.
The sbRIO-9626 is designed to be easily embedded in high-volume applications that require flexibility, reliability, and high performance. NI Single-Board RIO is sold only in OEM quantities. NI CompactRIO systems are ideal for low- to medium-volume applications and rapid prototyping.
