Although we strongly recommend that you attend our instructor-led classroom courses, we realize that this may not always be possible. National Instruments course kits feature the course manual, exercise manual, and software exercises used in our hands-on courses, so you can review the course materials at home at your own pace. Should you later decide to register for the corresponding instructor-led course, you can deduct the price of the course kit from the classroom registration fee within 90 days of your course kit purchase.
The LabVIEW Instrument Control course is designed to help you examine the basics of instrument control and teach you how to use, modify, and develop instrument drivers for programmatically controlling instruments in LabVIEW. You learn about the benefits of instrument control, explore industry applications, and gain an in-depth understanding of how you can use LabVIEW to communicate with instruments. Additionally, you learn how to efficiently modify an instrument driver and create new instrument drivers. Upon completion of the course, you are able to apply best practices in LabVIEW to communicate with instruments.
NOTE: Outside an instructor-led classroom environment, you may not have the hardware and software required by the exercise procedures. If you do not have the required hardware and software, you might encounter exercises that do not behave as intended or exercises you may not be able to complete. For help troubleshooting, you can browse ni.com/support or contact your local branch for technical support if you have the Standard Service Program (SSP).
