The Drivven Port Fuel Injector Driver Module Kit features an NI CompactRIO module for driving low- and high-impedance port fuel injectors (PFIs) and general-purpose automotive solenoid valves. The kit includes a LabVIEW FPGA VI for controlling each driver channel and a 10-pin screw terminal block. Each PFI driver is individually controlled for timing and duration, and each general-purpose low-side solenoid driver is PWM controlled and capable of 0 to 100 percent duty cycle operation. The PFI Driver Module requires the Engine Position Tracking (EPT) VI.
You can use Drivven C Series modules with NI cRIO-911x, NI cRIO-907x, and NI R Series expansion systems under the following conditions:
-You must leave one empty chassis slot between Drivven and NI modules
-You need to maintain an ambient system operating temperature of 0 to 45 °C
-Typical NI module specifications may not apply when used in a system with Drivven modules
-Warranted specifications are guaranteed for all NI modules except thermocouple modules when used in a system with Drivven modules
-The NI 9214 is recommended for thermocouple measurements in CompactRIO systems using Drivven modules
-NI Scan Interface mode, autodetection, and ID mode do not work when using Drivven modules
