Upon joining the NI Alliance Partner Network, new Alliance Partners must purchase the NI Developer Suite Software Reference Library (SRL) annual lease.
The annual lease covers your first-year membership fee in the Alliance Partner Network. You also receive a license to more than 60 NI software tools offered exclusively to our Alliance Partners at a 97 percent discount. The lease comes in bundles ranging from 1 to 50 seats. You are required to renew your NI Developer Suite SRL license annually as long as you remain active in the Alliance Partner Network.
Who can use the annual lease for the NI Developer Suite SRL?
All Alliance Partner employees who are actively involved in the delivery of products, systems, and services related to NI as indicated by the Alliance Partner Network application and membership profile can use the annual lease. This software package does not extend to areas of your organization that may use NI products but are not actively involved in the delivery of products, systems, and services related to NI.
What is the usage policy per seat?
One seat of the NI Developer Suite SRL is under a named-user license and can be multisite. This implies the following:
-Each seat is tied to a single user
-Software may be installed on three business computers at any given time
-Software may additionally be installed on one home computer
-Software can execute on only one computer at a time
What is included in the annual lease?
The NI Developer Suite SRL annual lease includes the following:
-All software and software options on the NI Developer Suite Core and other NI software added to the offer that is exclusively for Alliance Partners
-Standard service support per user
Note: The Circuit Prototyping Option and ARM Deployment Option are not included in the NI Developer Suite SRL package. Please order separately.
Software shipped with the NI Developer Suite SRL annual lease includes any previous revisions, localized versions, and/or non-Microsoft Windows platforms.
