The NI 9265 Measurement System can output four voltage signals at 100 kS/s with 16-bit resolution, communicating with a host PC over USB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.
Measurement Bundle Overview
The hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi chassis and one of the over 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed measurements.
Chassis
The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi bus. Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.
Module
The NI 9265 is a 4-channel, 0 to 20 mA, 100 kS/s simultaneously updating C Series analog output module for any NI CompactDAQ or CompactRIO chassis. It is ideal for interfacing and controlling industrial current-driven actuators at high rates. The module has built-in open-loop detection, which generates an interrupt in software when an open loop is detected as well as zeroing outputs to ensure safety and avoid driving actuators at system power-on. The NI 9265 requires a 9 to 36 V external power supply and includes a channel-to-earth ground double isolation barrier for safety and noise immunity.
