NI 9225 Measurement System

The NI 9225 Measurement System measures three voltage channels at 50 kS/s per channel with 24-bit resolution, sending data to a host PC over USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi.

Measurement Bundle Overview
The hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi chassis and one of the more than 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed measurements.

Chassis
The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi bus. Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.

Module
The NI 9225 C Series analog input module has a full measurement range of 300 Vrms for high-voltage measurement applications such as power metering, power quality monitoring, motor test, battery stack testing, and fuel cell tests. You can perform transient and harmonic analysis with high-speed simultaneous sampling at 50 kS/s per channel. In addition, you can prevent ground loops and add safety to a system with 600 Vrms channel-to-channel isolation between the three NI 9225 channels. For high-voltage applications, or for added signal wire strain relief, try the NI 9971 backshell kit. The NI 9971, sold separately, contains four backshells. Replacement or spare connectors are sold separately in the NI 9976 kit, which contains 10 of the 2-position screw terminals used on the NI 9225.
