The NI 9239 Measurement System measures 4 voltage channels at 50 kS/s with 24-bit resolution, sending data to a host PC over USB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.
Measurement Bundle Overview
The hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi chassis and one of the over 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed measurements.
The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi bus. Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.
The NI 9239 is a 4-channel, 24-bit C Series analog input module for use in any NI CompactDAQ or CompactRIO chassis. It is similar to the NI 9229 in functionality except for the input range. You can find detailed specifications for the NI 9229 and NI 9239 in the same manual for comparison.
With channel-to-channel isolation, your entire system, including the device under test, is protected from harmful voltage spikes up to the isolation rating. In addition to safety, isolation eliminates measurement errors caused by ground loops because the front end of the module is floating.
The NI 9239 uses four 2-position screw terminal connectors. The module includes all four connectors, and you can order more as replacements or for easy test equipment changes among devices under test. Those connectors are listed as model NI 9976.
