The NI 9223 Measurement System measures 4 voltage channels at 1 MS/s/ch with 16-bit resolution, sending data to a host PC over USB, Ethernet or 802.11 Wi-Fi.
Measurement Bundle Overview
The hardware for an NI CompactDAQ single measurement bundle consists of a USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi chassis and one of the over 50 NI C Series measurement-specific modules. These small rugged bundles are ideal for portable or distributed measurements.
Chassis
The chassis controls the timing for the module and handles communication with the PC over the USB, Ethernet, or 802.11 Wi-Fi bus. Additionally, all NI CompactDAQ chassis include four counter/timers that you can access through a digital I/O module like the NI 9401.
Module
The NI 9223 and NI 9222 are high-speed, simultaneous C Series modules for use in any NI CompactDAQ or CompactRIO chassis. With a sample rate of up to 1 MS/s and simultaneous analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), these modules are well-suited for applications such as ballistics, impact, and blast wave testing.
The C Series chassis design enables test systems with parallel timing engines. This means the NI 9223 can sample at 1 MS/s per channel while the module next to it samples at a much slower rate, which is ideal for mixed-measurement test systems.
