NI CompactDAQ digital output and pulse generation bundles include an NI C Series digital output module and a 1-slot chassis communicating over a USB, Ethernet, or wireless bus. The digital modules work with 5 V/TTL and extended voltage ranges and provide high-current switching capacity for direct control of a wide array of industrial actuators. Each module features an integrated connector junction box with a screw terminal or industrial D-SUB connector for flexible and low-cost signal wiring.
When combined with NI CompactDAQ, C Series modules use the NI-STC3 timing controller chip in the chassis for creating hardware-timed digital output signals. With this timing chip and the NI-DAQmx driver, you can easily program static digital output, build digital waveforms and PWM signals, and control relay operation. The NI-DAQmx driver for NI CompactDAQ includes an API for NI LabVIEW software as well as many popular text-based languages including ANSI C, C#, and .NET.
