Use ModBusVIEW over TCP to implement Modbus over TCP. The Modbus TCP/IP communication protocol is based on a client-server structure. The network can be composed of several clients and several servers connected with an RJ45 link. You can implement one or several Modbus networks on the same platform.
Through this protocol, only the client can prompt the exchange with the server by sending a request and waiting for its answer. The validity of the communication is controlled by the TCP/IP layer.
The ModBusVIEW_TCP driver encapsulates all of these layers to make it easy for NI LabVIEW developers to insert a computer as a client or server within such a network.
