The Measurement Studio life-cycle support policy states a commitment to support the three most recent versions of Microsoft Visual Studio. As new versions of Visual Studio are released, Measurement Studio will add new feature support for these versions and will remove support for legacy Visual Studio versions. If you need support for the most recent version of Visual Studio, you should use the most recent version of Measurement Studio.

Measurement Studio support for Visual Studio 6.0 and Visual Studio 2003 is considered legacy. Additionally, as .NET has gained acceptance, NI has seen a decline in the use of Measurement Studio Visual C++ MFC support. To better focus on .NET support, NI is changing Visual C++ MFC support for all versions of Visual Studio to legacy status. While Measurement Studio support for Visual Studio 6.0, Visual Studio 2003, and Visual C++ MFC are considered legacy, NI understands your application development may require this technology.
