The NI PCIe-8253 is an IEEE 1394b interface for FireWire® cameras in PC-based systems. The board supports both Windows and real-time OSs.

The IEEE 1394b standard, with up to 800 Mbits/s of bandwidth, is ideal for high-data-rate machine vision applications. The NI PCIe-8253 powers and acquires from cameras through three IEEE 1394b camera input ports. You can connect hubs to any of the ports to acquire from many more cameras.

This PCI Express board is RoHS compliant.
