In many applications, wireless measurement hardware must be outside and protected from environmental conditions. National Instruments provides IP65-rated (Ingress Protection) enclosures for the WSN Ethernet gateway and WSN measurement nodes.
Each weatherproof enclosure features two I/O glands for routing sensor, power, or Ethernet cables, and a variety of gland inserts so that you can maintain weatherproof protection regardless of how many cables you need to run to the device. The enclosures also include an external antenna to maintain a reliable wireless communication link.
