You now can directly replace these NI CompactRIO chassis, which should not be used for new designs, with NI cRIO-911x chassis. While National Instruments continues to provide and support these chassis, the company recommends purchasing cRIO-911x chassis for new applications and for upgrading current applications to the newer chassis wherever possible.
