NI Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (AI) is an interactive and easy-to-use menu-driven configurable environment for building, benchmarking, and deploying complete machine vision applications without the complexities of programming.

With the Vision Builder AI Development Toolkit, you can create custom steps for use in any Vision Builder AI inspection, such as a customized image processing algorithm or a customized acquisition step for a specific camera. The toolkit features a wizard and an API to create the custom steps and is designed for advanced LabVIEW users who are familiar with NI LabVIEW software and the NI Vision Development Module.

Full and run-time licenses for Vision Builder AI are also available.
