The NI PCIe-8430/8 is a high-performance, 8-port asynchronous serial interface for high-speed communication with RS232 devices at rates of up to 1 Mbit/s. NI high-performance RS232 interfaces are available with up to 16 ports. The NI PCIe-8430/8 offers flexible baud rates for data transmissions between 2 baud and 1,000,000 baud with better than 0.015 percent accuracy for standard baud rates and 0.5 percent accuracy for nonstandard baud rates.
