With the student install option, academic institutions can distribute NI student software to their students. Students can access software compatible with lab software on their PCs.
The student install option for the NI Academic Site License is designed to:
- Give students access, at an affordable price, to the same powerful software at home that they use at school.
- Permit students to install software from the academic site license on their PCs (based on option purchased).
Requirements
- Academic institution must have an active Academic Site License
- Seats are not transferable among students
- Software upgrades are available throughout student enrollment
- License expires at the end of student enrollment in the academic institution
- NI recommends managing licensing and distribution using the NI Volume License Manager (VLM)
