The NI ENET-9481 data acquisition device includes four single-pole single-throw (SPST) sourcing digital output channels specifically designed for industrial and control applications. Each output channel provides access to a Form A electromechanical relay for switching signals up to 30 VDC (2 A), 60 VDC (1 A), or 250 VAC (2 A). Each output also features an LED that indicates the state of that channel. In addition, channel-to-channel isolation protects your system from high-voltage transients, common-mode voltages, and ground loops.
NI Ethernet Data Acquisition (DAQ)
NI Ethernet DAQ digital I/O devices combine industry-standard Ethernet communication; direct sensor connectivity; and the flexibility of NI LabVIEW software for remote monitoring and control of actuators, such as pumps, valves, and relays. With built-in signal conditioning and reliable network communication, NI Ethernet DAQ devices stream data in real time for easy-to-use, high-performance remote measurements and control.
NI-DAQmx Measurement Services Software
Each ENET-9481 kit includes NI-DAQmx 8.9 or later. NI-DAQmx driver and measurement services software provides easy-to-use configuration and programming interfaces with features such as the DAQ Assistant and automatic code generation to help reduce development time. Every NI Ethernet DAQ device also includes a copy of LabVIEW SignalExpress LE software, so you can quickly acquire, analyze, and present data without programming.
Application Software
In addition to LabVIEW SignalExpress, NI Ethernet DAQ devices are compatible with the following versions (or later) of NI application software: LabVIEW 7.1¹, LabWindows™/CVI 7.x, and Measurement Studio 7.x. NI Ethernet DAQ devices are also compatible with ANSI C/C++, C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Visual Basic 6.0.
¹ NI-DAQmx 8.9 (and later) provides support for LabVIEW versions 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, 8.6, and later.

National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
NI now has over 50 C Series modules for your NI CompactDAQ, CompactRIO, or single module carrier. Several of these modules are also supported by other platforms including USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi (802.11).
