The NI WLS-9472 data acquisition device includes eight sourcing digital output channels specifically designed for industrial and control applications. Each output channel can source up to 30 VDC at 750 mA for direct connection to 12 and 24 V systems. Each output also features an LED that indicates the state of that channel. In addition, channel-to-earth isolation protects your system from high-voltage transients, common-mode voltages, and ground loops.
NI Wi-Fi Data Acquisition (DAQ)
NI Wi-Fi DAQ digital I/O devices combine IEEE 802.11g wireless or Ethernet communication; direct sensor connectivity; and the flexibility of NI LabVIEW software for remote monitoring and control of actuators, such as pumps, valves, and relays. With built-in signal conditioning and the highest commercially available network security, NI Wi-Fi DAQ devices stream data in real time for easy-to-use, high-performance remote measurements and control. In addition, the choice of wireless or Ethernet communication with the same device gives you flexibility as your applications change or expand.
NI-DAQmx Measurement Services Software
Each WLS-9472 kit includes NI-DAQmx 8.9 or later. NI-DAQmx driver and measurement services software provides easy-to-use configuration and programming interfaces with features such as the DAQ Assistant and automatic code generation to help reduce development time. Every NI Wi-Fi DAQ device also includes a copy of LabVIEW SignalExpress LE software, so you can quickly acquire, analyze, and present data without programming.
¹ NI-DAQmx 8.9 (and later) provides support for LabVIEW versions 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, 8.6, 2009, and later.
National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
NI now has over 50 C Series modules for your NI CompactDAQ, CompactRIO, or single module carrier. Several of these modules are also supported by other platforms including USB, Ethernet, or Wi-Fi (802.11).
