The NI USB-4431 is a five-channel USB dynamic signal acquisition module for making high-accuracy sound and vibration measurements from integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) and non-IEPE sensors. Four channels on the USB-4431 are analog input channels that can sample from 1 S/s up to a full rate of 102.4 kS/s. The analog input channels are all sampled simultaneously. The fifth channel on the USB-4431 is a 24-bit analog output channel ideal for stimulus-response tests. The analog output channel maximum update rate is 96 kS/s. This module delivers 100 dB of dynamic range on its analog input channels. It also incorporates software-selectable AC/DC coupling and IEPE signal conditioning for accelerometers and microphones. Refer to the specifications document for information about the analog output dynamic range.
