NI ENET-9211

4-Channel, 14 S/s, 24-Bit, ±80 mV Thermocouple Input

  • 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet communications interface
  • Up to 100 m cabling distance per segment
  • 4 thermocouple or ±80 mV 14 S/s analog inputs
  • 24-bit resolution; 50/60 Hz noise rejection
  • Compatible with J, K, R, S, T, N, E, and B thermocouples
  • Includes NI-DAQmx measurement services software and LabVIEW SignalExpress LE

The NI ENET-9211 Ethernet data acquisition (DAQ) device includes four thermocouple input channels with a 24-bit delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter (ADC), antialiasing filters, open-thermocouple detection, and cold-junction compensation for high-accuracy temperature measurements. You can synchronize an ENET-9211 with other devices by using two onboard individually programmable digital trigger lines to export or import sample clocks, start triggers, pause triggers, and reference triggers. In addition, channel-to-earth isolation and calibration traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards provide safety and accuracy for high-quality sensor measurements.

NI Ethernet Data Acquisition
NI Ethernet DAQ devices combine industry-standard Ethernet communication; direct sensor connectivity; and the flexibility of NI LabVIEW software for remote monitoring of electrical, physical, mechanical, and acoustical signals. With built-in signal conditioning and reliable network communication, NI Ethernet DAQ devices stream data in real time for easy-to-use, high-performance remote measurements.

NI-DAQmx Measurement Services Software
NI-DAQmx driver and measurement services software provides easy-to-use configuration and programming interfaces with features such as the DAQ Assistant and automatic code generation to help reduce development time. Every NI Ethernet DAQ device also includes a copy of NI LabVIEW SignalExpress LE software so you can quickly acquire, analyze, and present data without programming.

Application Software
In addition to LabVIEW SignalExpress, NI Ethernet DAQ devices are compatible with the following versions (or later) of NI application software: LabVIEW 7.1¹, LabWindows™/CVI 7.x, and Measurement Studio 7.x. NI Ethernet DAQ devices are also compatible with ANSI C/C++, C#, Visual Basic .NET, and Visual Basic 6.0.

¹ NI-DAQmx 8.8 (and later) provides support for NI LabVIEW 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, 8.6, and later.
