The NI WLS-9237 Wi-Fi DAQ device includes four channels of analog input with built-in signal conditioning for strain gages, pressure transducers, load cells, and other bridge-based measurements. You can synchronize the WLS-9237 with other devices by using two onboard individually programmable digital trigger lines to export or import sample clocks, start triggers, pause triggers, and reference triggers. In addition, channel-to-earth isolation and calibration traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards deliver safety and accuracy for high-quality sensor measurements.
The standard RJ50 connectors on the WLS-9237 are used for mass termination. Crimping an RJ50 connector onto a sensor, which is similar to crimping a standard network cable, provides for quick connection of the sensor to the module.
For screw terminals without the quarter-bridge completion, purchase the NI 9949 RJ50 to screw terminal accessory and a kit of RJ50 cables (quantity of 4). This setup exposes all 10 pins for each channel as screw terminals. The NI 9944 and NI 9945 are accessories for use with quarter-bridge sensors. These accessories have a female RJ50 connector on one end and screw terminals on the other end. Purchase these accessories with a kit of RJ50 cables (quantity 4).
NI Wi-Fi Data Acquisition
NI Wi-Fi DAQ devices combine IEEE 802.11g wireless or Ethernet communication, direct sensor connectivity, and the flexibility of NI LabVIEW software for remote monitoring of electrical, physical, mechanical, and acoustical signals. With built-in signal conditioning and the highest commercially available network security, NI Wi-Fi DAQ devices stream data in real time for easy-to-use, high-performance remote measurements.
NI-DAQmx Measurement Services Software
NI-DAQmx driver and measurement services software provides easy-to-use configuration and programming interfaces with features such as the DAQ Assistant and automatic code generation to help reduce development time. Every Wi-Fi DAQ device also includes a copy of LabVIEW SignalExpress LE software so you can quickly acquire, analyze, and present data without programming.
¹ NI-DAQmx versions 8.8 and later are compatible with LabVIEW versions 7.1, 8.2, 8.5, 8.6, and later.
