The NI 9426 is a 32-channel sourcing digital input module that provides connections for 32 simultaneously sampled digital inputs. It uses an industry-standard 37-pin D-Sub connector for low-cost cabling to a wide variety of 37-pin accessories from National Instruments and other vendors. It also works with industrial logic levels and signals for direct connection to a wide array of industrial devices.

The NI 9426 requires a 37-pin D-Sub connector or cable such as the NI 9933 accessory kit for direct connectivity. The NI 9933 includes a screw-terminal connector with strain relief as well as a D-Sub solder cup backshell for creating custom cable assemblies.
