National Instruments is expanding the performance and capabilities that portable instrumentation offers with the NI USB-4065 6½-digit digital multimeter (DMM) and NI USB-5132/5133 50 MS/s and 100 MS/s digitizers/oscilloscopes. While many stand-alone instruments use USB simply as a new means of data transfer for existing hardware, these NI PC-based instruments offer a new USB architecture designed for portability and ease of use. You can use these portable, bus-powered devices together for applications such as high-frequency and high-resolution field diagnostics and in-vehicle monitoring as well as OEM applications. In addition, their small size (7.0 by 4.1 by 1.3 in.) and weight (under 10 oz) make them a great way to save space and increase portability in general laboratory environments and classrooms.
