The NI LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers delivers graphical programming to the world’s most popular embedded 32-bit reduced instruction set computing (RISC) processor. It provides a comprehensive development environment for ARM7, ARM9, and Cortex-M3 microcontrollers. This new module, jointly developed by NI and ARM, integrates NI LabVIEW embedded technology and the Keil RealView Microcontroller Development Kit to provide a seamless, out-of-the-box embedded programming experience.

The module helps you take designs from concept to production by including all the tools you need to create your application quickly: integrated debugging, desktop simulation, communication drivers, and I/O drivers for a variety of microcontrollers. Use the proven LabVIEW C generation technology to create production-quality applications. Low-cost evaluation kits are available.

Requirements for LabVIEW Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers

The Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers has the following system requirements:

  • LabVIEW 2012 Full or Professional Development System (32-bit)
  • RealView Microcontroller Development Kit 4.11, including Keil µVision4
  • Keil ULINK2 USB-JTAG adaptor

The Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers supports the following operating systems:

  • Windows 7 (32-bit)
  • Windows Vista (32-bit)
  • Windows XP with Service Pack 3 (32-bit)

The Embedded Module for ARM Microcontrollers does not support Windows NT/Me/98/95/2000, Windows Server non-R2 editions, or the Windows Server 2008 R2 edition. Keil µVision does not support Windows Server.

LabVIEW Full is included with this software.
