NI cFP-2200

Real-Time Controller with 128 MB DRAM, 128 MB Storage

  • Embedded controller that runs LabVIEW Real-Time for data logging, analysis, and process control
  • Stand-alone embedded real-time controller or Ethernet interface for PC-based distributed I/O
  • 400 MHz processor, 128 MB DRAM, 128 MB nonvolatile storage
  • Industrial-grade: 50 g shock, 5 g vibration, and -40 to 70 °C operating range
  • 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port with embedded Web and file servers with remote-panel user interface
  • RS232 serial port for connection to peripherals

The National Instruments cFP-2200 programmable automation controller for Compact FieldPoint is designed for industrial monitoring, embedded control, and distributed I/O applications. Using the NI LabVIEW Real-Time Module, you can create full-featured applications with thousands of analog and digital I/O, advanced signal processing, real-time simulation algorithms, PID control loops, and even motion control.

The NI cFP-2200 features an industrial 400 MHz Freescale MPC5200 real-time processor for deterministic, reliable deployment and 128 MB of DRAM memory for larger and more advanced analysis. For embedded data logging, the controller contains 128 MB of internal nonvolatile storage. The fault-tolerant file system embedded in the cFP-2200 provides increased reliability for your data-logging applications.

With the 10/100BASE-T Ethernet port and RS232 serial port, the deployed cFP-2200 can conduct programmatic communication with other intelligent controllers and devices. Through its built-in Web (HTTP) and file (FTP) servers, the cFP-2200 interface automatically publishes I/O data to a PC running LabVIEW or to your choice of OPC client or HMI/SCADA software. It also easily integrates with existing legacy or programmable logic controller (PLC) systems.
