The National Instruments PXI-2533 high-density solid-state relay (SSR) matrix module features 256 crosspoints in a compact, single-slot, 3U PXI form factor. The NI PXI-2533 is configured as a 4x64 one-wire matrix. Because the module uses SSR technology, it offers unique benefits such as unlimited mechanical lifetime and the ability to route 55 W simultaneously on all channels (unlimited simultaneous connections). These features make the PXI-2533 ideal for routing general-purpose signals in high-density matrix applications.
Connecting Signals to the PXI-2533
The PXI-2533 breaks out switch connections into a single 68-pin SCSI connector. You can connect signals to the PXI-2533 using the NI TB-2633 front-mounting terminal block. For remote connectivity, you can use the NI SH68-68S cable, which connects to a remote, DIN-rail-mountable terminal block (NI TBX-68). Both methods provide screw-terminal connectivity.
NI Switch Executive Switch Management Software
NI Switch Executive is an intelligent switch management and routing application. With NI Switch Executive, you gain increased development productivity by interactively configuring and naming switch modules, external connections, and signal routes. You also increase test code reuse and system performance with switch programming in conjunction with NI TestStand, LabVIEW, and Measurement Studio. These features are especially important when using high-density switch modules such as the PXI-2533. Ultimately, NI Switch Executive simplifies switch system configuration and increases test performance, lowering your cost to test.
Reduce your setup time and total cost of ownership, and get a system you can use out of the box with National Instruments system assurance programs. System assurance programs include:
Installation and integration test of all individual hardware
Courtesy installation of system driver sets and application development environments
Three-year warranty and calibration coverage
Custom documentation plus a custom restore and startup utility
This service is only available for PXI, NI CompactRIO, and NI Compact FieldPoint systems.
National Instruments designs and manufactures all products to minimize failures, however unexpected failures can still occur. Extended warranties provide a fixed economical price at the time of system purchase, covering any repair costs for up to three years. In addition, they offer the following benefits:
Significant cost savings compared to individual repair incidents
Fault location, diagnostics, and repair by NI any time the system product fails
All parts and labor costs covered as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications
NI recognizes the need to maintain properly calibrated devices for high-accuracy measurements. NI provides manual calibration procedures, services to recalibrate your products, and automated calibration software to calibrate many NI measurement products.
Return your registered product under warranty at no additional labor and parts cost. NI offers fault location, diagnostics, and repair any time the system fails as well as any adjustments needed to restore the hardware to manufacturing specifications.
