The National Instruments MES-3980 is an eight-port managed Ethernet switch (MES) for networking NI Ethernet-based devices. The NI MES-3980 offers the same industrial specifications as the unmanaged switch plus additional network management, network monitoring, security, redundancy, and system alarm functionality. The MES-3980 provides Web-based configuration for easy management of these features and a Windows utility for configuration.
