The Ultiboard Basics course introduces you to the NI Ultiboard environment. This course prepares you to transfer NI Multisim schematic netlists to Ultiboard and design a printed circuit board (PCB) for export to production. Topics include design setup, precise part and trace placement, and the optimization and use of autoplacement and autorouting. Prepare final designs for manufacture and export to industry-standard file formats.
The hands-on approach of the Ultiboard Basics course steps you through PCB creation from Multisim netlists to Gerber files, teaching the application of necessary skills to quickly become productive with Ultiboard.
Ultiboard Basics is available as an instructor-led course in three flexible formats:
1. Classroom Training in Your Area
This one-day classroom course is regularly scheduled at one of the fully equipped NI training facilities. You have the opportunity to interact with a certified instructor and discuss ideas and problems with your peers and colleagues.
2. Online Training
The online course is taught live over the Internet in two half-day sessions. If time demands make it difficult to attend a classroom course, you may take the instructor-led online course using NI virtual classroom technology. This technology makes the classroom fully interactive - you receive the same material used in the classroom course, you have access to hardware for hands-on exercises, and you can ask questions and communicate with other students in real time.
3. On Site at Your Facility
On-site training is a cost-effective solution for training a group of people at your company’s location.
