NI high-performance TPCs feature an Intel Atom processor-based design that you can use to deploy human machine interface (HMI) applications to harsh industrial environments with an extended temperature range of -20 ºC to 60 ºC. Featuring 1 GB DDR2 SDRAM, these TPCs help you create complex and media-rich interfaces with the reliability, flexibility, and extended support of the WES7 OS. You can easily combine these TPCs with other NI hardware such as CompactRIO, PXI, DAQ, and vision devices for applications like industrial control. You can simplify HMI design by using NI LabVIEW and LabVIEW Touch Panel Module software, which provides easy network deployment, navigation controls, and prebuilt templates.

With WES7 systems, you can create a reliable HMI system by taking advantage of the built-in HORM and EWF features. NI’s version of WES7 exposes these features both in the OS properties and programmatically. By incorporating a TPC with an NI programmable automation controller (PAC) such as CompactRIO, you can use these systems to develop advanced medical devices, industrial monitoring and control, remote machine control, oil and gas maintenance and operator equipment, and other applications that use PACs or programmable logic controllers.
