The NI PXI-5652 RF and microwave signal generator is continuous-wave with modulation capability. In a single 3U PXI slot, the PXI-5652 signal generator provides exceptional phase noise and signal jitter. With the PXI-5652 6.6 GHz RF and microwave signal generator, you can easily set up sophisticated stimulus response or tracking generator applications using the PXI-5660 RF vector signal analyzer (VSA) and the NI LabVIEW graphical development environment.

You need a cable to transmit signals between your device and an external module.
The chassis provides rugged, modular housing for the controller and modules and contains the high-performance PXI backplane, which includes the system's data, timing, and triggering buses.
The controller runs your application and interfaces with your PXI modules.
You need software to interface with your hardware and to collect, analyze, present, and store your measurements. This board is compatible with a variety of programming languages, including LabVIEW, C/C++, Visual Basic, and .NET. LabVIEW provides the easiest integration with all of your NI hardware and is recommended to maximize your hardware investment.
