The NI CANopen LabVIEW Library is a set of VIs you can use to create CANopen master applications that comply with the CiA DS-301 standard. These functions, which work with NI-CAN driver software, are compatible with all Series 2 high-speed CAN interfaces.

CANopen is a controller area network (CAN)-based higher layer protocol developed as a standardized embedded network with highly flexible configuration capabilities. It was designed for motion-oriented machine control networks, such as handling systems, but now it is used in a variety of products and applications, including medical equipment, off-road vehicles, maritime electronics, public transportation, and building automation.
